The tree on the left is a natural with a good, strong taproot and wide laterals for strength and support during the tree’s development.
The tree on the right is a Jiffy seedling displaying root structure in every way as good as the natural.  In fact, by the second year stage of field development, experienced foresters find it virtually impossible to distinguish a Jiffy-started tree from a natural.
